It'd be nice if any of this was cited with evidence. I mean any of it.-- Rotten 20:42, 18 May 2006 (UTC)
I don't understand the point of the final sentence: "In Hong Kong there are three industrial estates.". Yeah, so what. In France there are ....???? In italy there are ....? What is the point of quoting numbers for any one state or territory? And to pick Hong Kong is purely arbitrary. This sentence needs deleting unless it is going somewhere.
Further: "In the UK small industrial parks containing multiple units all of the same style are known as trading estates." Not true. The phrase 'trading estate' does not and has not suggested that units are of the same style. Emeraude 22:42, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
I would say the following statement from the criticism section in very necessary:
It hardly seems appropriate for someone in favor of suburban sprawl to take the moral high ground, considering the massive waste of land and resources that result from the proliferation of industrial parks, edge cities, and exurbs. This is in addition to the environmental harm they cause. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.248.34.118 ( talk) 16:57, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
Is the description worded correctly? Heavy industry is a "lightweight" version of light industry? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.142.236.206 ( talk) 08:25, 27 April 2013 (UTC)

There was a supporting list-article of examples of industrial parks, which was recently deleted at AFD (in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of industrial parks by size). I requested and received a copy of the list-article, which is now at User:Doncram/List of industrial parks. In the AFD I voted "Keep", and I continue to believe it was a valid list of examples. IMO the list can be included as a section within this "Industrial park" article, and I may insert material at a section "List of industrial parks". Frankly IMO it would also be valid immediately to split this material out as a separate list-article, List of industrial parks. However doing so immediately would perhaps seem offensive to the closer and/or "delete" voters in the recent AFD. So it would be better if some/any additional information/sources were added to the material before splitting it out again. -- Doncram ( talk) 22:36, 2 February 2019 (UTC)
I propose merging Organized industrial zone into Industrial park. I think the content in Organized industrial zone can easily be explained in the context of Industrial park, and a merger would not cause any article-size or weighting problems in Industrial park.
