USNS Guam – Multiple reliable sources, have indicated the purchase of the vessel by the United States Navy and its enrollment into service into the Military Sealift Command. Here are some RSs to support the name change:
"USNS GUAM (HSV )". Military Sealift Command. United States Navy. 24 May 2012. Retrieved 21 July 2012.
Support, convention is that current vessels are housed at the current name.

Note: It should be determined if a hull number will be assigned ie: (HSV-x). I notice the MSC site has (HSV ) like it's waiting for a hull number to be assigned.
