The result of the move request was: moved to
Bingo! (AKB48 song). There is a consensus here both to retain the exclamation point and to add the artist's name as a disambiguating term.

Strong oppose. The title has an exclamation mark. It is incorrect to drop it. Also, there have been similar discussions that ended differently. For example:
I think it is unfair to continue with these moves (with inconsistent results) until there has been a thorough discussion about disambiguating titles with punctuation marks. Until there is some sort of Wikipedia rule/guideline about that.
First of all, the main reasoning was that "punctuation was frequently dropped" and it was simply not true in those cases. A move discussion is not a vote and !votes with incorrect reasoning must not be taken into account. (There was no evidence, yet the same reasoning was repeated over and over. The Japanese media would never drop a punctuation mark, never.)
The reason result of RMs are different is that print sources exist for most English song cases. But for most Japanese and Korean songs there are few print sources.

Rename to Bingo! (AKB48 song) - the exclamation point should be retained, but it should be distinguished from other Bingo songs, albums which use similar stylizations. -

Rename to
Bingo! (AKB48 song) as per previous RMs. Particularly since this is purely decorative use of "!" on a Japanese language song. Also note that this article should have had a hatnote redirecting the dozens of other
Bingo (disambiguation) songs, but giving a recognizable title to the article is a better solution.

Thank you so much! I'm not sure what happened and why the AKB48 song is now at
So Long! (AKB48 song) and why everyone agrees not to drop the exclamation mark, but I am very grateful. (I don't mind disambuguating the title if you think it should be done. I am just against dropping the punctuation. I would even vote to move it to
Bingo! (AKB48 song), but I am afraid now, after what happened at
Want!.) --

User:Moscow Connection, I fully agree with you, I'm fully in favor of keeping "!" "..." "?" in all cases. The "!" etc. provides help for some users and harms no one. I think the idea (of another editor) was that disambiguation demands identical punctuation so "!" must be stripped, but no evidence was provided of this nor is there anything in
WP:DAB or any guideline saying this.

Goodo, have been there and supported. There doesn't need to be any conflict between both providing name of artist, and providing exact punctuation; it isn't an either/or and it's good to see a consensus emerging on this.

Support!! inclusion of exclamation points, which are linguistically significant.

Support move to include artist name since there are several songs by this name. No comment about exclamation marks. —
