The article fails to mention where these devices originate from (distributor or manifacturer). If it comes from the same source as the
ADE 651, it's not clear about that either. Thanks,

The name of the company that distributed this device globally was a UK firm Comstrac, it was made by another UK firm Scandec; it was assembled
in a backgarden shed. It went to trial, the distributor was found not guilty &
the mfr face a retrial in 2014.
