In mid-July, 1879, a conference and reunion of pioneering officials of Wisconsin Territory was held in Madison. Those in attendance are listed; those who sent their regrets are also named. As part of the proceedings, a list of the former officeholders was read out, and the attendees queried as to the fate of their peers. If you are unsure as to the later life of anybody in this era, this is a starting point.[1] --
