- Any order of battle for a formation like this should list the date for which it is valid.
- Same with listing the commander.
Indian Brigade
Lt-Col Joslen's Orders of Battle for the Second World War shows no such brigade as the Indian one claimed to have been attached to the division; do we have a source for this?--

ISBN0-460-02474-4.. The brigade's commander was Brigadier Martin Borthwick Jennings (1899-1966) and it consisted of 2nd Bn. The Buffs, 1st Bn. 19th Hyderabad Regiment and 2nd Bn. 8th Punjab Regiment.
