Since 2021–22 European windstorm season is already taken can someone delete the redirect ones and rename this article to 2021–22 European windstorm season

The Storm Aurore image is captioned as being south of Ireland but is clearly over Scandinavia in the image. Is the image of another storm or has the caption been wrongly edited? Lacunae ( talk) 19:54, 8 November 2021 (UTC)
The image given is of Hendrik III on 21 October, Right? 116.72.128.168 ( talk) 14:12, 9 November 2021 (UTC)
Tropical Storm Wanda never affected Europe. It was absorbed by the cold front of a mid-latitude storm on November 8 (The "T" along the cold front in http://www.met.fu-berlin.de/de/wetter/maps/Analyse_20211108.gif). It is that storm, named Stephane by FUB ( http://www.met.fu-berlin.de/de/wetter/maps/Analyse_20211109.gif), that affected Europe. Pierre cb ( talk) 14:32, 16 November 2021 (UTC)
The power outages number for Storm Arwen is missing. I have been searching through news and media (particularly BBC News and Sky News) as well as many less reliable sources. However, all of the figures I’ve found give local answers (Wales, Scotland, Cumbria, Northumberland) between 11,000 and 294,000. Can anyone please find a comprehensive figure? With 4 deaths and at least 130,000 power outages, the storm I believe could be notable enough for its own article. Feel free to add information to the Draft:Storm Arwen draft article. I put it in draft form currently because Storm Arwen redirects to the subsection. Once the draft is ready to be moved to mainspace, we can get an admin to speedy delete the redirect page so we can move the draft to mainspace thus preserving the attribution history from draft-mainspace. On the 26th major TOC's in the UK like LNER said that they can operate today so that leads in to that the storm ended today or yesterday FoxInSpcae ( talk) 10:36, 28 November 2021 (UTC)
Israel is expecting some impacts from Storm Carmel, so I began a draft for the article. Elijahandskip ( talk) 01:44, 20 December 2021 (UTC)
Given the additional national groupings this year, I propose it might be conductive to use the title "European named storms" rather than use the more limited windstorm title. As clearly this page is not just about European windstorms in the strictest sense. Lacunae ( talk) 20:08, 12 January 2022 (UTC)
It appears that we now have a northern naming group that consists of the meteorological services of Denmark, Norway and Sweden, which means we now are well on the way to having all severe weather events over Europe assigned an international name. For the record, this naming group was the one that assigned the name Malik to an LPA over the weekend. Jason Rees ( talk) 14:29, 31 January 2022 (UTC)
I'll be using the redirect, as it's a viable option. Mobius Gerig ( talk) 19:41, 14 February 2022 (UTC)
Should we make an article for Dudley, as it caused 11 tornadoes, 9 deaths (2 tornadic) and a lot of damage? 12.246.51.130 ( talk) 15:28, 19 February 2022 (UTC)
Many sources discussing these storms already point out as explained by meteorologists how global warming has increased the chance of storms occurring as well as their intensity. This should probably be mentioned in the article.
Who added Belarus and Russia into the list of areas affected by Eunice? The wiki page of the storm does not list Belarus and Russia on the places affected. Hanami-Sakura ( talk) 19:54, 25 February 2022 (UTC)
Why are the medicanes in this season being called 'former cyclones', when in reality they are still technicality cyclones? Mobius Gerig ( talk) 20:19, 3 March 2022 (UTC)
I have just noticed Storm Athina and Storm Ballos have a track now, this is strange to me as they weren't very strong, kind of similar to Storm Clement (2020 - 2021 season). It would be nice for whoever added this to add more tracks in the future 2A02:C7F:52FE:3F00:E070:782A:1C49:D1C7 ( talk) 14:52, 8 April 2022 (UTC)
