The external link in note 47 is broken. It just connects to the Yahoo main page. Radeschty ( talk) 19:17, 4 February 2017 (UTC) reply

Start listing every shooting in the US?

Should we start to list every shooting in the US?— Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.189.101.11 ( talkcontribs)

No, shootings only get articles if they are notable, my friend. Also, please sign your name using four tildes. Spaghetti07205 ( talk) 23:07, 24 July 2015 (UTC) reply
I assume in the see also section. Yes, by all means add a link to List of massacres in the United States or List of rampage killers if it's appropriate. But don't add a list of all shootings. We have pages for that already. Epic Genius ( talk) 23:53, 24 July 2015 (UTC) reply

Type of gun used

Where are people getting the idea that the gun was a Hi-Point? All of the sources I have seen thus far have not mentioned the name AT ALL. Versus001 ( talk) 17:18, 25 July 2015 (UTC) reply

Is this page necessary?

Is this page really necessary on Wikipedia? I'm asking because usually a person has to kill at least 4 or 5 people for a page to be created on Wikipedia. 2604:2000:7FC0:1:8922:8B7F:7045:A2B5 ( talk) 09:23, 4 August 2015 (UTC) reply

Articles are included on wikipedia if they meet they meet the requisite for notability. It was a mass shooting, just because not all of the people actually died does not make a difference on whether it is notable. Bagist ( talk) 12:02, 4 August 2015 (UTC) reply
It was reported in international news outlets and continues to be reported on by a variety of notable, reliable sources. So yes. Faceless Enemy ( talk) 12:10, 4 August 2015 (UTC) reply
