Signal Port (also, Hardscratch [1] and Signal [2]) is a former settlement in Mendocino County, California. [1] It was located near the mouth of Signal Creek 3.5 miles (5.6 km) northwest of Fish Rock, [2] at an elevation of 108 feet (33 m). [1]

The Signal post office operated for a time in 1882. [2] The Signal Port post office operated from 1888 to 1890. [2] The name refers to signals given ships waiting to load lumber at the site. [2]
