Sangan Rural District ( Persian: دهستان سنگان) [3] is in the Central District of Khash County, Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran. [4] Its capital is the village of Sangan. [5]
At the National Census of 2006, its population was 7,248 in 1,660 households. [6] There were 6,187 inhabitants in 1,416 households at the following census of 2011. [7] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 6,411 in 1,854 households. The largest of its 59 villages was Shahrak-e Durudi, with 528 people. [2]
