The Rural Municipality of Gull Lake No. 139 ( 2016 population: 201) is a rural municipality (RM) in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan within Census Division No. 8 and SARM Division No. 3. It is located in the southwest portion of the province.

History

The RM of Gull Lake No. 139 incorporated as a rural municipality on January 1, 1913. [2]

In the 2021 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, the RM of Gull Lake No. 139 had a population of 185 living in 73 of its 89 total private dwellings, a change of -8% from its 2016 population of 201. With a land area of 828.48 km2 (319.88 sq mi), it had a population density of 0.2/km2 (0.6/sq mi) in 2021. [7]

Government

The RM of Gull Lake No. 139 is governed by an elected municipal council and an appointed administrator that meets on the second Tuesday of every month. [3] The reeve of the RM is Elizabeth Kramer while its administrator is Jeanette Kerr. [3] The RM's office is located in Gull Lake. [3]
