Peru–United Arab Emirates relations are the bilateral relations between Peru and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Both countries are members of the United Nations and the Non-Aligned Movement.

Both countries established relations on June 17, 1986. [1] [2] In 2011, Peru opened a consulate general and a commercial office in Dubai. The city is also home to a sizeable Peruvian community, the largest in an Arab country, and hosts the most Peruvian restaurants in the Middle East. [3] In March 2016, the UAE opened an embassy in Lima. [4] [5]

The UAE is Peru's first commercial partner in the Arab world. In 2020, trade between both countries was valued at US$ 530 million. [2] Peru is the UAE's second destination in South America for investments. [5]
In 2023, both countries signed a travel agreement so that Emirates starts operating direct flights to Lima. [10]
Desde este punto de vista, cabe destacar los viajes que el embajador José Antonio García Belaunde, entonces ministro de Relaciones Exteriores del Perú, realizó a los países del Golfo (Arabia Saudita, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahréin y Emiratos Árabes Unidos; por falta de tiempo no se incluyó Omán) a fines de 2009.
