The Brush Creek Township garage is located in Monroeville.

Monroeville is an unincorporated community in Jefferson County, in the U.S. state of Ohio.

History

A former variant name of Monroeville was Croxton, [1] for founder Abraham Croxton. [2] Monroeville was laid out in 1836. [3] The name honors James Monroe, 5th President of the United States. [2] A post office called Croxton was established in 1833, and remained in operation until 1895. [4]
