Scope and content: TOJO TAKES THE STAND. - Hideki Tojo, former Japanese General Premier and War Minister, from December 2, 1941 to July 1944, takes the stand for the first time during the International Tribunal trials, Tokyo, Japan. He is testifying in his own behalf during the defense phase of the trials. Tojo is surrounded by the Tribunal's staff.
