Summary

Description
English: Gerald Desmond Bridge, 1968 truss structure and planned 2018 replacement cable-stayed structure. The two structures will coexist briefly (after the 2018 cable-stayed structure is opened, traffic will move from the 1968 arch through-truss and demolition will commence on the 1968 structure). Conceptual rendering based on various web sources.
