Notes
Significance: Point of Honor is a two-story, brick house with a three-bay center section flanked by octagonal ended projections. It is similar to the Hancock-Wirt-Caskie House in Richmond. Construction began in 1806 and the house was completed in 1815.
George Cabell is the best known resident of Point of Honor. Cabell was a friend of Thomas Jefferson and the surgeon to Patrick Henry. Today the property is owned by the City of Lynchburg.
