Description
English: This recording was obtained by ProPublica from inside a U.S. Customs and Border Protection facility. Children can be heard crying for “Mami” and “Papá” while a border patrol agent jokes "we have an orchestra here." A 6-year old girl begs for someone to call her aunt, whose number she memorized. Video and translation/transcription by ProPublica.
