Description Alief Rail Depot (Present-Day Westpark Tollway)

The Alief Rail Depot right across from the cotton mill (Present-Day Alief Amity Park). The Railroad was owned and operated by The San Antonio Aransas Pass. Eventually, the railroad was bought by Southern Pacific Railroad and the depot was torn down and paved over by Alief Clodine Rd. until 2005 the railroad was still intact when TX-Dot removed the railroad and constructed the Westpark Tollway.
