At the National Census of 2006, its population was 5,154 in 1,049 households.
[6] There were 6,050 inhabitants in 1,549 households at the following census of 2011.
[7] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 6,511 in 1,889 households. The most populous of its 34 villages was
Kahnuyeh , with 1,540 people.
