Seyyedan (
Persian : سيدان )
[a] is a city in, and the capital of,
Seyyedan District of
Marvdasht County ,
Fars province,
Iran .
[4] It also serves as the administrative center for
Khafrak-e Olya Rural District .

At the 2006 census, its population was 7,555 in 1,954 households.
[6] The following census in 2011 counted 7,563 people in 2,170 households.
