American college football season
The 1996 Georgia Bulldogs football team represented the
University of Georgia as a member of the Eastern Division of the
Southeastern Conference (SEC) during the
1996 NCAA Division I-A football season . Led by first-year head coach
Jim Donnan , the Bulldogs compiled an overall record of 5–6, with a mark of 3–5 in conference play, and finished tied for fourth in the SEC Eastern Division.
