The Wyatt Sicks (stylized as Wyatt Sick6) is an American professional wrestling stable performing in WWE on the Raw brand. The group is currently composed of Uncle Howdy, Erick Rowan, Dexter Lumis, Joe Gacy, and Nikki Cross.

The group is an homage/successor to The Wyatt Family, a stable established by the late Bray Wyatt in 2012 in WWE's NXT brand (and promoted to the main roster the following year) in which Rowan was also a member.

As members of the Wyatt Sicks, Rowan, Lumis, Gacy, and Cross all portray characters based on puppets from Wyatt's "Firefly Funhouse" children's show gimmick (Ramblin' Rabbit, Mercy the Buzzard, Huskus the Pig Boy, and Abby the Witch, respectively). [1]

History

Formation

After the return of Windham Rotunda, who worked as Bray Wyatt, at Extreme Rules in 2022, he was accompanied by a character who Wyatt identified as "Uncle Howdy". Uncle Howdy made some appearances in WWE and it was reported that Rotunda's real life brother Taylor, known previously as Bo Dallas, portrayed the character. Windham died on August 24 at the age of 36. After Wyatt's death, Uncle Howdy was removed from WWE programming and storylines with the fate of the character unknown. [2]

During the documentary Bray Wyatt: Becoming Immortal, Bo Dallas showed the unfinished ideas Windham left. Also, he implied the return of Uncle Howdy. At the beginning of 2024, WWE began airing short vignettes at live events and during commercial breaks of televised shows, while QR codes were also hidden in various locations on episodes of Raw and SmackDown. Each code led to websites containing imagery, minigames, and riddles that vaguely referenced the return of Uncle Howdy, in addition to his stable.

At the end of the June 17, 2024, episode of Raw, The Wyatt Sicks made their debut. They attacked numerous unnamed WWE backstage staff, several security personnel, as well as several in-ring performers such as Chad Gable. [3] [4] [5]
