Yeşilyurt ( Kurdish: Çirmik) [2] is a municipality and district of Malatya Province, Turkey. [3] Its area is 953 km2, [4] and its population is 341,654 (2022). [1] At the 2013 reorganisation part of the former central district of Malatya Province was added to the district. [5] It covers the western part of the agglomeration of Malatya and the adjacent countryside. The mayor is Mehmet Çınar ( AKP).
