Why don't you join WikiProject Film and Chinese cinema task force instead of starting a new task force of WikiProject Hong Kong? This task force is fairly inactive and could use new members to get project very active like WikiProject United States. This seem to be a duplicate effort. Billy Lau needs his own Wikipedia page creating because he is a notable Chinese actor. Kelvin 101 ( talk) 21:31, 2 November 2011 (UTC)

Currently, the first Pom Pom film has its own page, while the article on the Lucky Stars series has more info about the Pom Pom films, as some people evidently view them as a spin-off of the Lucky Stars films. I think that other info should either be moved to a page about the Pom Pom series, or at least added to the page for the first Pom Pom film.
I don't believe there is any info at all about the Mr. Boo series of films, although the second one (according to IMDB) is listed as The Private Eyes (1976). IMDB lists 7 or so films as part of the Mr. Boo series (under Also Known As titles.)
I'm not very familiar with the series, and I don't know if they actually had a contiguous character named Mr. Boo in each film, or if that was tacked on later to sell them as a box set. 68.12.225.100 ( talk) 06:17, 8 December 2013 (UTC)
UPDATE: Apparently Michael Hui became known as Mr. Boo to fans in Japan, and a collection of his unrelated films became known as the Mr. Boo films. I don't believe the name is used anywhere except the Japanese DVDs, other than Mr. Boo Meets Pom Pom. I have no clue as to whether he was known by that name before making Mr. Boo Meets Pom Pom, or if that was the source of his nickname in Japan. 68.12.225.100 ( talk) 22:19, 29 December 2013 (UTC)
Hello and greetings from the maintainers of the WP 1.0 Bot! As you may or may not know, we are currently involved in an overhaul of the bot, in order to make it more modern and maintainable. As part of this process, we will be rewriting the web tool that is part of the project. You might have noticed this tool if you click through the links on the project assessment summary tables.
We'd like to collect information on how the current tool is used by....you! How do you yourself and the other maintainers of your project use the web tool? Which of its features do you need? How frequently do you use these features? And what features is the tool missing that would be useful to you? We have collected all of these questions at this Google form where you can leave your response. Walkerma ( talk) 04:24, 27 October 2019 (UTC)
