Since there are several contributors now, who are in majority contributing individually on different articles and areas of interest, I thought it is time for joining hands together for collaborations. We can set goals of achieving featured status, for the selected article in this collaboration, and will need to work on that.
Here is the process I thought, that I wanted to put across you all.
Any of the project member can propose any of the
Karnataka related article for the collaboration.
Based on the consensus, the article shall be selected for the collaboration. We should strictly need to have rotational basis, if we are about to have multiple collaborations on similar articles. Like if we have one article on History then next one can be Geography and then Culture and then a sports personality and so on.
A preliminary table of contents is developed with various section names.
Develop section by section, referring from various sources.
Avail the required images (preferably free images, that can be put on main page)
Create necessary templates/infoboxes
Have multiple rounds of copy-edits (covering various aspects such as NPOVifying, grammar, etc) from external members.

Karnataka article itself to make it an FA; is of paramount importance --

Support per Amarrg - Of all the ones listed here, this one is probably closest to a peer review and/or FA. I feel we should get this out of the way before we deal with other articles.

Strong Support - Closest to being a potential FA, given the phenomenal work Dinesh has done on all the aspects of
History of Karnataka. Also, now that we have 5 History related FAs on Kingdoms of Karnataka, this would make a nice series. --
