Tick the stadiums off as they are completed
I suggest to create cat ans spilt current page to Coppa Italia 2006-07. Matt86hk talk 11:46, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
Just a thought but how about getting all these templates set up so that they can all be linked together by using the {fb start} and {fb end} codes such as presently being done on the San Siro page. The 5 star template and the Serie A Stadiums template links togehter nicely.
If we could, I wouldn't mind doing the same for the following templates.
I've tried to do this already yet I just can't seem to get it right. I've coded the Results template already but can't get the Football in Italy and Serie A templates to merge on pages such as Serie A and the different seasons pages. Niall123 11:45, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
Anyone think that the Trofeo Birra Moreti and the TIM Trophy should be included on the above template. Basically boils down to both of those cmpetitions being friendlies. I say they should be included on the basis of them being important warm up tournaments for the forthcoming season. Put to public vote I guess. For Niall123 00:54, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
I think we should decide a standard for the classifications. Actually we have many different classification "layouts":
I vote to the have the first one as a standard. - CapPixel 23:36, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
I added a manual of style section. I know it's from the main football WikiProject. I thought 1 manual of style would help preventing conflicts between the 2 WikiProjects. Kingjeff 03:34, 3 November 2006 (UTC)
Could someone do the detailed results tomorrow for the Serie A article. I won't be able to do it. You can get the detailed results from [www.skysports.com] in the live scores section. Remember to update the results table too and the fixtures for next week. SHould be back by then. Thanks. Niall123 21:29, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
If you take a look at Serie_A_2006-07/November you'll notice that I'm after adding the Round 10 table at the end of the Round 10 results in a collapsable template. Basically, I'd imagine that other here would agree that having the classification after each round would be too bulky. I think this is the best way around this as the template collapses into barely nothing. Any views or comments on this and any ideas to maybe improve on this idea ? As you can see, I have added Round 7 Classification yet as Round 7 table was never created on the front page, only Round 8 was added after Round 6. I'll try to get it done in the next few days. A small idea but how about focusing on different articles and try to all improve them in one go. I personally think that an area lacking is in player articles. From what I can tell, there are far too manay players without any articles.
From my point of view we should focus on one team each week. How about focusing on the big teams first, especially on the Majority Completed section and get them up to standard. There shouldn't be too much work in doing these ones. After that we'll move onto the other ones. All it takes is doing 1 or 2 per week. If every person did that there would be a huge improvement within a month or 2.

Can't say I mind too much. My view would be to do the first team members first and when a lot of the teams first players are done, might move onto the youth players after. What team do you want to do next ? Considering there's only 8 players left for Livorno , doing that team mightn't be a bad idea if you think its OK ? Niall123
Some Serie B team squad still not updated, likes Pescara Calcio. Matthew _hk t c 18:12, 23 November 2006 (UTC)
Could someone address the following conflict: category names should be changed. There are many Italian football articles that members of WikiProject Football have assessed, but these articles are still in the category of Unassessed football articles because of WikiProject:Italian Football's template. Thank you. -- Crzycheetah 20:15, 24 November 2006 (UTC)

Why they call ACF Fiorentina verse A.C. Siena is a derby? the city seems far away. Matthew _hk t c 09:35, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
Last week I decided to move Stadio Giuseppe Meazza to San Siro. I did this for quite a few reasons that I have listed on San Siro's talk page (shown below). Anyways, before the move, I had entered a discussion on the WikiProject Football's talk wether this move would be ok. I had one reply which was basically do what you want. Now that I have moved San Siro, I'm just wondering should the same be done for Stadio Renzo Barbera and Stadio Luigi Ferraris. The case for these two stadiums might not be as obvious as for the San Siro but I'd just like to get an opinion here. Niall123 19:56, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
I've moved the article from Stadio Giuseppe Meazza to here for a number of reasons.

Some guy has nominated the Serie B 2006/2007 complete season calendar for deletion (see Serie B 2006-07 Calendar). Its the only page that allows us to see the whole season's results and upcoming games. Its a little more detailed than the chart table on the main Serie B page but not as detailed as the 'detailed results' for Serie A etc. You can post your opinion on this page ----> Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Serie B 2006-07 Calendar Juveboy 04:29, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
Hello, all. It was initially my hope to try to have this done as part of Esperanza's proposal for an appreciation week to end on Wikipedia Day, January 15. However, several people have once again proposed the entirety of Esperanza for deletion, so that might not work. It was the intention of the Appreciation Week proposal to set aside a given time when the various individuals who have made significant, valuable contributions to the encyclopedia would be recognized and honored. I believe that, with some effort, this could still be done. My proposal is to, with luck, try to organize the various WikiProjects and other entities of wikipedia to take part in a larger celebrartion of its contributors to take place in January, probably beginning January 15, 2007. I have created yet another new subpage for myself (a weakness of mine, I'm afraid) at User talk:Badbilltucker/Appreciation Week where I would greatly appreciate any indications from the members of this project as to whether and how they might be willing and/or able to assist in recognizing the contributions of our editors. Thank you for your attention. Badbilltucker 19:22, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
Now that my usual work with the detailed Italian results is finished, I started a new page at A.C. Milan seasons to detail past seasons for the club. Any idea where I can get past top scorers for Milan each season. I will keep adding more and more seasons going back week by week. Give a few months I should have all the years done. Any help would be brilliant. Niall123 20:34, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
Is that Asamoah Gyan fail to transfer to Moscow? BBC and uefa.com mentioned he has signed, but still playing against Torino, 27 January. Matthew_hk t c 11:51, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
I've been improving the F.C. Messina Peloro article a lot recently, but theres a problem. Compared to all of the other Serie A clubs, the logo for that article is really small and poor, compare; Messina to Catania for example. Could somebody upload a better one? - Deathrocker 16:27, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
A proposal to reorganise all football related projects has been made here. Input from members of this project is wanted. – Elisson • T • C • 20:22, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
As it is now, this article contains solely the current professional clubs from A to C2. I think we should revise it, and organize the list alphabetically; I've suggested a possible approach in its talkpage. Prego. -- Angelo 01:49, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
Can I ask this WikiProject to contribute to Wikipedia:Peer review/Italian football champions -- Dweller 13:43, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
Hi, I've just added Italian football champions to the list of nominees to be promoted as a featured list and would appreciate support/comments etc. You can add your comments here. Cheers! The Rambling Man 07:02, 23 April 2007 (UTC)

In the stadium infobox, the "owner" should be who is in charge of the stadium (i.e. Vicenza Calcio with Stadio Romeo Menti) or the actual owner (i.e. Municipality of Vicenza)? CapPixel 22:48, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
Just thought I'd let the project know that Italian football champions was promoted to featured list status last night. Thanks to all who contributed. The Rambling Man 07:11, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
Hi I just want to point out that there are two pages on the Italian Team (the latter should be deleted, and all the pages linking to it should be edited) :
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Italy_national_football_team
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Italian_national_football_team
Moreover, the former contains a wrong template at the bottom of the page (with the results in the World Cup of Germany National Team, instead of Italy)
Bye bye ivan (ivanbcn at Wikipedia - Italian)
We've recently added some task forces to Wikiproject:Football. It may be worth thinking about making this WP a task force instead, let me know if you would like any help with this... Paulbrock 12:26, 30 June 2007 (UTC)
As there is no voiced opposition to the proposal, I am going to turn this WP into a taskforce of WikiProject Football. -- Angelo 18:11, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
