I am helping User:Dominic with the upload of Historical photographs of public schools in Boston to Commons. All together I will upload ~350 historical images from Boston. I am already doing some basic categorization, but I am unfamiliar with the city, its geography and history, so I can use some help categorizing those images (and subcategories of Category:Public schools in Boston by name), geotagging them and adding them to articles. Thanks -- Jarekt ( talk) 03:59, 1 July 2012 (UTC)
Hello! I updated the Neighborhoods in Boston article to reflect the City of Boston's new neighborhood designations, but I'm not familiar enough with the sub-neighborhoods in "List of places and squares within neighborhood areas" to properly split Allston-Brighton and Dorchester & Mid Dorchester. I moved a few sub-neighborhoods from Dorchester to Mid Dorchester based on the City website's description, but can someone else check if any of the neighborhoods listed under Dorchester belong under Mid Dorchester? And can someone split up Allston & Brighton? Thanks! Nadhika99 ( talk) 08:37, 30 January 2014 (UTC)
I wonder where this content belongs.... WhisperToMe ( talk) 09:33, 15 May 2014 (UTC)
If there is enough coverage on the death itself, especially if it causes the City of Boston to make changes and/or there is significant coverage, one can write the Death of Binland Lee WhisperToMe ( talk) 09:56, 15 May 2014 (UTC)
If there is a place to write about the fire death of Binland Lee, please mention her Chinese name (with Chinese Americans we mention their Chinese names: Andrew Lih, Amy Chua, etc.
WhisperToMe ( talk) 09:42, 15 May 2014 (UTC)
There is another article that uses different Chinese characters:
However "Binlan" seems to be more common in the articles... And Sina uses that too

Can anyone in the Boston area get some free shots of the "Good Will Hunting" bench in the Public Gardens, as people are currently using it as a tribute for Robin Williams and it would be nice to get some shots of that for his article. (Will also ask as Mass. project). -- MASEM ( t) 03:23, 13 August 2014 (UTC)
Hi all, there currently is a discussion on the talk page at Fort Hill, Roxbury about moving the page to Fort Hill, Boston. Fort Hill, Boston currently redirects to Fort Point, as an indicator for the hill that previously was located in the neighborhood. There is also a suggestion about leaving [Fort_Hill,_Boston|Fort Hill, Boston]] as a disambiguation page. Any input would be appreciated. Chambers617 ( talk) 23:38, 21 March 2015 (UTC)
I've been thinking that it's time the MBTA had its own WikiProject, so I've created a proposal page at Wikipedia:WikiProject Council/Proposals/Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, and I'd love to hear your thoughts on this! Whoop whoop pull up Bitching Betty | Averted crashes 19:48, 11 May 2015 (UTC)
Note your input is also sought on the several proposed names and scopes, made as this proposal has been reviewed.
Your input is still sought on the proposed WikiProject Wikipedia:WikiProject Council/Proposals/Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority. Thank You — Lentower ( talk) 20:36, 22 May 2015 (UTC)
This is a notice about Category:Boston articles needing expert attention, which might be of interest to your WikiProject. It will take a while before the category is populated. Iceblock ( talk) 18:34, 16 August 2015 (UTC)
I started some Chinese-language articles on Quincy, Massachusetts ( zh:昆西 (马萨诸塞州)) subjects and I also added some Chinese descriptions to images. Is anyone interested in checking them out? WhisperToMe ( talk) 11:43, 9 September 2015 (UTC)
Lombardo's Function Facility is in Randolph, and it could use some work. I've done what I can, but it's still up for deletion. Any help is appreciated. ··· 日本穣 ? · 投稿 · Talk to Nihonjoe · Join WP Japan! 05:41, 23 October 2015 (UTC)
A WP:COI editor has questions and wishes to add non-neutral, coi content to Armenian Heritage Park. Please see Talk:Armenian Heritage Park and respond. Thanks, -- Hammersoft ( talk) 19:57, 9 December 2015 (UTC)
An anonymous editor posted a claim at Talk:The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog#Original quotation that The Boston Journal published the phrase over a month before the currently known oldest publication of the phrase. According to the editor, it was published in the Monday, February 9, 1885 edition. Could someone go to the Boston Public Library and confirm this (preferably with a scan to post on Commons)? The Boston Public Library has the The Boston Journal on microfilm (call number AN2.M4B6435). Kaldari ( talk) 04:44, 12 September 2016 (UTC)
Does Andrew P. McArdle Memorial Bridge exist? Thanks. Anna Frodesiak ( talk) 03:24, 1 February 2017 (UTC)
This guy is listed under articles that should be created. Just wondering if that's the same person as Peter Oxenbridge Thacher --MopTop ( talk) 17:16, 27 February 2017 (UTC)
There is a discussion at Talk:Charlestown Bridge that would benefit from some additional participation. Should the article be renamed to " North Washington Street Bridge (Boston)"? What is the " common name" of that bridge? — BarrelProof ( talk) 20:24, 27 March 2019 (UTC)
Talk:Christian Science Center- Belvidere/ Dalton evidently concerns early (June 2014) plans for One Dalton Street aka the new Four Seasons. Its one citation of the Boston Globe is legitimate and that item may report the first public announcement of the development (2015 to 2019). Presumably the stub contains tidbits that belong in the article, a very one-sided merge. -- P64 ( talk) 17:07, 27 March 2021 (UTC)
I have created an article for Mass and Cass. There is much more that could be said, and I would appreciate the help in expanding it. -- Slugger O'Toole ( talk) 02:45, 13 October 2021 (UTC)
If a project member in Boston is able to take a photograph, The Alley Bar is currently unillustrated. Thanks! --- Another Believer ( Talk) 16:56, 14 April 2022 (UTC)
I have (with the help of others) made a small user script to detect and highlight various links to unreliable sources and predatory journals. Some of you may already be familiar with it, given it is currently the 39th most imported script on Wikipedia. The idea is that it takes something like
John Smith "[https://www.deprecated.com/article Article of things]" ''Deprecated.com''. Accessed 2020-02-14.
)and turns it into something like
It will work on a variety of links, including those from {{ cite web}}, {{ cite journal}} and {{ doi}}.
The script is mostly based on WP:RSPSOURCES, WP:NPPSG and WP:CITEWATCH and a good dose of common sense. I'm always expanding coverage and tweaking the script's logic, so general feedback and suggestions to expand coverage to other unreliable sources are always welcomed.
Do note that this is not a script to be mindlessly used, and several caveats apply. Details and instructions are available at User:Headbomb/unreliable. Questions, comments and requests can be made at User talk:Headbomb/unreliable.

I have nominated Ellis Paul for a featured article review here. Please join the discussion on whether this article meets the featured article criteria. Articles are typically reviewed for two weeks. If substantial concerns are not addressed during the review period, the article will be moved to the Featured Article Removal Candidates list for a further period, where editors may declare "Keep" or "Delist" in regards to the article's featured status. The instructions for the review process are here. SandyGeorgia ( Talk) 15:00, 20 November 2022 (UTC)
If anyone feels like a trip out to Mount Auburn Cemetery at some point, here are some notable people whose graves don't have photos on Commons, along with their GPS coordinates from Find a Grave:

You are invited to join the discussion at Wikipedia talk:Content assessment#Proposal: Reclassification of Current & Future-Classes as time parameter, which is within the scope of this WikiProject. This WikiProject received this message because it currently uses "Current" and/or "Future" class(es). There is a proposal to split these two article "classes" into a new parameter "time", in order to standardise article-rating across Wikipedia ( per RfC), while also allowing simultaneous usage of quality criteria and time for interest projects. Cross post from WP Massachusetts Boston Medical Center program merge-in discussion (Round House Hotel) Boston Medical Center is operating a clinical service/addiction service at the former site of a Best Western's round shaped hotel in Mass and Cass in Boston. It's a temporary stint that started in February 2022 and was supposed to sunset in July, but has been extended until September 2023. It has a lot of press now due to its current controversy, but I don't believe the less than two year stint has enduring notability to warrant having its own permanent article and I feel it merged into Boston Medical Center. Do you all have suggestions for different target or should the stand-alone article for Roundhouse Hotel (public services) remain permanently?
