I don't think Truthtell is Justallofthem, it just doesn't make sense. First of all, there are a lot of Scientologists in the geographial area that these IP addresses resolve to. Then, Truthtell has only ever worked on two articles: L. Ron Hubbard (adding long lists of Hubbard's books, in edits that were years apart) and Scientology controversies. Stylometric analysis of edit summaries strongly contradicts the sockpuppet finding:
- Truthtell uses "SCN" (all caps) as an edit summary abbreviation of Scientology; Justallofthem and his old Just another account have never used this in well over 10,000 edits (these accounts have consistently used "Scn").
- Two of Thruthtell's 20 edit summaries begin with "Update(s) of". Neither Justallofthem nor Justanother or Alfadog has ever used this in an edit summary.
- Another two of Truthtell's edit summaries are "some fixes" and "some changes ...". These are edit summaries that could cover a wide variety of situations and that an editor might be expected to use repeatedly, if they use such vague edit summaries at all. Again, neither Justallofthem nor his earlier Justanother or Alfadog accounts have ever used "some fixes" or "some changes" as an edit summary.
- Another one of Truthtell's edit summaries begins with "An improved ...". Again, never been used by any of the other accounts.
- One of Truthtell's edit summaries begins with "Factual incorrectness". Never been used in an edit summary by any of the other accounts, not even the word "factual" by itself, nor the somewhat uncommon word "incorrectness".
- One of Truthtell's edit summaries begins "Inserted ...". Ditto, never used by the other accounts in thousands of edits.
- One of Truthtell's edit summaries begins "Made corrections ...". Again, not once used by the other accounts.
- One of Truthtell's edit summaries mentions "false assertions". Not a single one of the other accounts concerned here has ever used the phrase, nor even the singular "false assertion".
I think that is as conclusive a result as an analysis based on such limited data can ever be expected to deliver. Jayen 466 15:06, 16 February 2009 (UTC)
