You many use the following text as a starting point for creating articles about geothermal features. This is provided as a convenient template, but is not a requirement for editing.

The introductory section should specify the geyser name, type and location within Yellowstone National Park in the United States. Further notable information should be added, such as specific location and other geysers within the group (if applicable). Unique features should also be highlighted (i.e. - tallest geyser). Naming information should be added if available (i.e., Named by Dr. F.V. Hayden in 1871).
This section should detail the history of the feature, including the discovery and other notable events. It is appropriate to include block quotes of historical accounts of the feature such as (from Old Faithful Geyser):
Old Faithful is sometimes degraded by being made a laundry. Garments placed in the crater during quiescence are ejected thoroughly washed when the eruption takes place. Gen. Sheridan's men, in 1882, found that linen and cotton fabrics were uninjured by the action of the water, but woolen clothes were torn to shreds
Geology
This section should detail the geology of the feature, which will differ depending on the type. Describe the physical characteristics of the feature. For hot springs and pools, add information about the color and temperature. For geysers, describe the eruption sequence. Sometimes the features will change over time due to earthquakes or other factor; these can be discussed here as well.
