__ VITAL GOOD ARTICLES IN 2023

| Organized by WikiProject Vital Articles

THE VITAL COMPETITION aims to improve Vital articles as fast as possible. By improving these broad topic articles, we would massively improve Wikipedia for the readers.

Scope

Only articles within the Wikipedia:Vital articles list (not the level 4 or 5) are counted during this competition. During the competition, articles in the list can be added or removed. If a team is working on an article and it is removed from the list, the article would still count towards the final score.

Teams

List your team name, WikiProject affiliation, members and articles you've worked on here.

Overview

This competition invites everyone to join. No matter your seniority and identity, you can be the part of this competition. All you need to do is to make an account and sign yourself to the list below. Then, team up, and work on an article that is on the vital articles list. There is no limit on member count, though there is a score weighting applied that discourage new members to join. To win this competition, teams must have the highest score calculated via a formula.

How to win

Try everything to make the good article nomination process as efficient as possible. All eligible, legal strategies are allowed. What's the most effortless way I can improve content? Should I use neural networks to summarize a source faster? Should I gather information from other articles first? Should I work on the text, citations, or images first? Think about your strategies from the first principles and then build it up via iterative improvement. Remember, the most effective team wins.
