Welcome to the project page for the New Georgia Encyclopedia (NGE), a web-based encyclopedia created by a collaboration of the Georgia Humanities Council, the Office of the Governor of Georgia, the University of Georgia Press, and the University System of Georgia/GALILEO containing over 2,000 articles about the state of Georgia.
