Why hi there! I'm 25 years old and I live in St. Petersburg, Florida. I just came over to Wikipedia after contributing on the Cyber Nations Wikia for the past two years. I often peruse Wikipedia for hours at a time and I thought that it is about time that I give back by being active, helping out where I can and contributing.

need help on citing information on new wikipedia page that is not cited in other places

I am interested in helping develop a Wikipedia bio of Victor Poor, a developer of the first commercially viable microprocessor, the precursor of the Intel 8008/8088, and an innovator of technology that enhanced Amateur Radio. He was also a friend.

I'm not much of a writer, but I enjoy research and pulling together information that's out there on the Internet. It was a little scary starting the Wikipedia page for Vic, but I was glad to see that some good Samaritan helped out. I hope others will too.

I'm one of the heretofore silent masses who LOVE Wikipedia, but have stayed in the shadows. But not lurking: I'm a professional editor and cannot stop myself from correcting grammatical errors. I'm also a French-to-English translator, and have added to several articles where the English version has needed some pumping up from the French. In particular I've contributed to articles about a place I love (and sometimes live) in Languedoc, Narbonne, the first Roman colony in Gaul. The ancient "Via Domitia" was uncovered a few years ago and is visible in my profile pic here.
