I am a legal search marketer. We have a few clients that are well-known enough to deserve wikipedia pages. Are their examples of attorney pages that you feel are really well done. It is a fine line of saying what the firm's accomplishments are and being perceived as promotional.
I am a student of literature, trying to get more into the editorial world, and wikipedia seems like a neat place to start. "Yes, but under Glenda's same skies a poet had said eternity was in love with the works of time..."
I became interested in Wikipedia after the Orange Lodge which I belong to here in Ulster decided to commission a new banner featuring a member sadly now deceased who had fought in the 1st world war called Robert Hill Hanna and won a Victoria Cross. The family connections with the lodge are very strong as even today of our 47 members of this lodge, which Bro Robert once belonged, 23 are still named Hanna and some of them can boast direct connections to him.
I was looking for as much info outside of our own archives as I could find about our deceased esteemed member when I discovered your listings and this encyclopedia. Given where I come from and the huge sensitivities which surround identity and heritage here, I found the original Wikipedia entries about Bro Hanna misleading and to use a phrase much bandied about here in Ulster "economical with the truth". I set about correcting this to give a more balanced view of Bro Hanna and that was my intro to Wikipedia.
PS After the banner is finished which may be a year away I intend to upload a photo of it. Banners are about 8 feet high and about 5 feet wide painted onto watered silk. As yet we have to decide if he will be portrayed in battle action or a facial portrait with possibly his Victoria Cross and inscription above whichever we decide. How do I actually upload or link to a photo as I havn't worked this out yet?

I'm a PhD student studying microbial ecology. I am interested in interactions between humans and their environment, both from a social and a natural science perspective. Currently I am studying how anthropogenic changes to the environment affect belowground microbial dynamics, and how these changes might result in changes to the aboveground ecosystems which we can see.

I can Programs some in cmd on windows pc and can build an basic or gaming desktop from the basic parts as the hard drive, memory cards, graphic card, cd drive usb plugins, internal fans, speakers and most important the mother board.
I also like going in my back yard and going in the woods and hike way to an river near by less then an 1/2 mile away. also like on the way there theirs steep hills and few trees at top so i tie strong rope around the tree trunks at top and tie an loop for the clip to attach to my belt so i can jump of or climb safely as also have fun few seconds of air jumping off the side descending fast sometimes and quickly tighten the rope to stop at the bottom, but most times i descend slowly. Its so much fun.
I'm here because of the terms of use per paid contributions change issue. I have a problem with the way under capitalism, every free and plentiful thing, including human intelligence, must be dominated by private wealth, commodified, bought, sold, and as a result, scarcity for the majority of humanity manufactured. With this change, we would have the manufacturing of the scarcity of reliable information; a specialty of capitalist societies. I want to see some discussion, and, the outcome. We've seen this before in other media. I'm not optimistic.
I am an old Wikipedia lover and contributor. I am a scholar and love to read. I am here to fight vandalism and help new wiki editors. My focus would be on articles related South Asian sub-continent, its history, personalities and places.

I have used Wikipedia for many years but just recently felt compelled to attempt to edit an article (on Meister Eckhart). I am an environmental lawyer and also a climate change activist, so I am sensitive to the issues of competing versions of thoughts, writings, ideas, even reality. I am interested in helping out editing articles that are informed by those issues.
I am a 62 year old female with an active mind and a will to learn more every day. I have a strong sense of fair play which is why I am always fighting for the underdog (of which I am one).
