– A checkuser has completed a check on relevant users in this case, and it is now awaiting administration and close.

Suspected sockpuppets

(This is a bit of a long shot, I'll admit.) I've just declined at AfC Draft:PolicyX, which was created by Himansh SEO and subsequently resubmitted by Himanshutyagipx. What caught my attention was that both user names have the 'Himansh' bit, both are SPAs with edits only to this draft, both were set up around the same time, and also the tell-tale 'SEO' part in one of the names. Looks like UPE to me, in addition to the likely socking.

I googled Himansh SEO, and up came a website (web development, SEO, etc.) run by a person by the name of Himanshu Patel. I then found that Himanshu Sandip Patil has been blocked as a sock of Triman Ranvir, so connected the dots and ended up here. (Unfortunately those accounts haven't edited for a year, so are probably stale?)

If these are burner accounts set up for this purpose only, there could be others, hence the CU request, FWIW. -- DoubleGrazing ( talk) 09:07, 8 April 2024 (UTC) reply
