Suspected sockpuppets

নবাব was created in 2018 but was not very active until starting in May 2023 when editing picked up. If not part of the UPE farm, then possibly MEAT and working with them. Many of the pages recreated by user have been deleted G5 for being sock creations. If you look at the creations by নবাব, many socks join the editing quickly after creation which indicates they were aware in advance of the re-creations (no way they are watching and waiting and just happen to see these). Notices on the talk page of নবাব indicates they use a proxy so not sure if a CU is going to match anything. However, the behavioral evidence links this account to other socks.

I only went through 2024 creations but there are pages going back to 2020. I can list them all and the socks involved if you need more evidence but the following I believe are telling:

  • Maa (song) was created by নবাব and then edited by now blocked sock Zihad22 (sock master Symon Sadik). Other than the sock revert and a single page curation edit, these are the only two accounts who have edited the page.
  • Himel Ashraf, created by নবাব, previously deleted twice. Also edited by sock Zihad22, same as above.
  • Lal Shari created by নবাব on February 24, 2024. Previously deleted G5 four times (three of them due to sock master Symon Sadik accounts. Note that right after creation, socks are already joining in on the editing of the page which indicates they were aware of its creation in advance.
  • List of Bangladeshi films of 2024, created by নবাব on February 24, 2024, then immediately edited by ZooEL94, now blocked sock of Symon Sadik.
  • Peyarar Subash, same as the two above. Article created and in less than 30 minutes there is a sock joining in on the editing.
  • Dujon Dujonar, created by নবাব on February 6, 2024. Previously deleted G5 only four days prior. Note that some of the reference retrieval dates are from the delete version indicating that XXX had access to that since deleted draft.
  • Kagojer Bou (film), created by নবাব on January 23, 2024. Within a few hours, user RM30 SilentKillerFan (now blocked sock of Symon Sadik) adds moving poster and does additional edits, followed by ZooEL94 once again.
  • Shesh Bazi, created by নবাব on January 23, 2024 and within an hour socks from the Symon Sadik sock farm are editing.
  • Rajkumar (2024 film), originally created in December 2023 by sock Sonju10 (Sock Master: Md Majedul Islam (Sonju)), edited by sock QuadriOnMobile (Sock Master: Syed amjad08). The page was recommended for deletion on December 13, 2023 and the next edit was from নবাব with an edit summary of “please don’t delete until I complete its work.” Note that user had not previously edited so summary seems out of place. On ANOTHER note, if you look at the comments in the AfD discussion, it appears that a campaign was being run under WP:NEWSORGINDIA indicating a likely UPE campaign. After page was deleted, a draft was created and submitted to AfC by নবাব which was declined. The page was moved to mainspce by another Sock and then back to draft space. It was eventually moved to mainspace on April 11, 2024 by নবাব.
  • Dard (2024 film), created by নবাব on October 29, 2023. Note this 11 minute edit gap before IP 103.154.236.68 begins to take over editing of the page. Note this IP address editing many of the film-related pages that are heavily edited by socks, indicating LOUTSocking. Note that নবাব picks up editing again approximately 9 minutes after the IP is done with their edits (approximately 6 in total). Page is later edited by Sock Paradoxical SS (Sock Master: Symon Sadik) and again by Sonju10 (mentioned previously).

Maya: The Love link was added to actor page Ziaul Roshan by IP 103.154.236.69. Same IP as working on the other sock pages. Ziaul Roshan page coincidentally shows WP:OWNed by Symon Sadik blocked sock ZooEL94 and Paradoxical SS. -- CNMall41 ( talk) 07:15, 14 April 2024 (UTC) reply

History of page Idhika Paul shows it was deleted pursuant to discussion in 2022. Recreated by User:Crampcomes on January 1, 2024. In less than 30 minutes of its creation, user QuadriOnMobile (now blocked sock of Syed Amjad08) begins editing the page. Since that time, the same 103 IP range has been editing as well as blocked socks RM30 SilentKillerFan (blocked sock of Symon Sadik), IFahad Hasmi (blocked sock of Symon Sadik), Johnvola (noted as a probably sock but blocked for disruptive editing), Timulad (blocked sock of Johnvola), and then today user:নবাব.User Crampcomes and নবাব show overlapping on quite a few pages which also contain a handful of the socks listed in this paragraph and the IP range also noted. Clearly note conincidence or love of cinema. I have a feeling there are more accounts but I have already left a wall of text. -- CNMall41 ( talk) 06:11, 14 April 2024 (UTC) reply

Per Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rajkumar (2024 film), the article was recreated. It can still be deleted as an WP:G4. If Symon Sadik socks are editing on the articles, then the sockmaster could be নবাব because they have been longer than Symon Sadik if accused as a sock. Agree. The issue is that they have created over 80 pages and the longer it takes the more people edit the page, making them ineligible for G5. Hopefully it can be seen that the majority of the secondary edits are coming from LOUTSOCKing. -- CNMall41 ( talk) 21:30, 30 April 2024 (UTC) reply
