Suspected sockpuppets

Serial spammer for non-notable child youtuber Caillou Pettis. WP:Walled garden articles to date include thrice-deleted Caillou Pettis, Aaron Bennett, The Pilot (Fancy Boys), itself a recreation of the twice speedy deleted Fancy Boys. Suspected sockpuppets


An unknown creator of fan films, Caillou Pettis, has repeatedly had their page recreated a number of times by these editors who specifically have edited a small focus of articles, including Batman fan films, Seinfeld and Rhett and Link. After Caillou Pettis was speedy deleted more than once and subsequently salted, other naming conventions have thus far included Caillou Pettis (actor) and Caillou Pettis (director). The most recent offender is BatmanArkhamConroy, who first recreated the article with the "director" descriptor, then after it was deleted, recreated it with the unsalted name. This account's edits so far have predominantly been about creating new articles in which they could link their name. It's highly likely that the original editor, Nicholas Favel, is actually Caillou Pettis, as their intention has been for self-promotion, rather than constructively contributing to Wikipedia.   • Given how far apart in time the different accounts were editing, I don't see any abuse of multiple accounts here, regardless of whether they are the same person, meatpuppets, or totally unrelated. Suspected sockpuppets


SimplyBatman22 was created after FilmLover2016, but SimplyBatman22 seems to be the main account, with edits to different pages. The only edits done by FilmLover2016 are related to Caillou Pettis which is a page that has been recreated by SimplyBatman22, as evident in the page logs and his talk page even after an AFD discussion. Notice how the only vote for a keep is made by FilmLover2016. I am unsure of which accounts created the pages before the one he recreated in 2017. They're back! The Caillou Pettis page was recreated by RhettAndLinkFans, a new user with similar contributions as the previous socks, as a draft, then moved to the mainspace by BatmanArkhamConroy, who also happens to have created the Caillou Pettis page before twice or more ( see talk page), of which I now remember tagging years back. BatmanArkhamConroy's edits are a bit more diverse, but also contain similar edits to pages such as Rhett and Link and of course Pettis. He has also defended the page in an AFD in a similar manner to previous sock SimplyBatman22 ( talk · contribs) (similar username!). For the record, there are also other SPIs involving Pettis, at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Nicholas Favel/Archive, in which Filmlover2016 and BatmanArkhamConroy are listed as suspected SPs. Suspected sockpuppets


Recreation of an article about Omnicrom, the same as yet unreleased Caillou Pettis film that I mentioned in the last discussion, after it was deleted at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Omnicron. SeinfeldSaltyDischarge also has a longer edit history of Caillou Pettis promotionalism — including the creation (today) of the high school Caillou Pettis attended (with, of course, Caillou Pettis listed as a notable alumnus), and heavy participation in the 2016 round of Caillou Pettis and his Batman fan film and his self-created film studio. Even SSD's few undeleted edits still involved Caillou Pettis in some way, such as quoting his user-generated IMDb comments as film reviews and adding mentions of his Batman fan film to the articles about real Batman franchise films and adding Caillou Pettis to the requested articles list. Admin-shopping to bypass the WP:AFC process, by asking to have Draft:Caillou Pettis (Canadian filmmaker) (of course) moved directly into articlespace without proper AFC review. The request admittedly backfired, as one of the requestees submitted it for proper AFC review instead of just moving it themselves — and it's already been rejected for the same reasons it got rejected or deleted all the other times, but the fact that the request was made at all is problematic in and of itself. Some of this editor's past socks have already graduated to globally-locked status, for the record — and this version's only other contribution to date, besides this draft and the talk page requests, is an already-deleted draft about Caillou Pettis's father, which made no other notability claim at all besides fatherhood. Caillou Pettis again. This time their tactic has been to spam a bunch of user talk pages with links to blogs and IMDb and the same Taylor Swift tweet coverage that wasn't enough the first eleventy squillion times, in an attempt to get somebody else to recreate a new article in lieu of trying to do it themselves. This, of course, also ties in with Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Caillou Pettis and Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Nicholas Favel, which should probably all just be merged into one, but I'm choosing this puppetmaster name as it's the one that's been updated within the last few months with current socknames that might not be stale yet. Creation of Golden Scythe Horror Awards, an article about a one-man my-personal-favourite-films "award" with no reliable source coverage whatsoever — said one man being none other than Caillou Pettis. I acknowledge the high probability that the older accounts may be too stale to link definitively, but this still needs to be documented for the record regardless, and given that past dances around this maypole often found sleeper accounts, there may be sleepers again.
