I haven't been able to find any indication that a pellet drum is ever known as a revolving drum. None of the other articles that use the phrase is a viable target. –  Arms & Hearts ( talk) 21:36, 20 December 2020 (UTC) reply

  • comment this was probably intended to ultimately redirect to tumble finishing, though I don't know that I would choose that target myself. Mangoe ( talk) 02:10, 22 December 2020 (UTC) reply

  • Delete - only references I can find for "revolving drum" are crossword clues websites, with answers including barrel, machines such as a loom, or a wide variety of musical instruments. If it's a notable topic I can't tell what it is, but a redlink would encourage article creation. Side note, the creator's block log is the first time I've seen "general feeling of malaise" as a block rationale. Ivanvector ( Talk/ Edits) 18:32, 28 December 2020 (UTC) reply

Minimal mention of Tseraskiy on the target page. Additionally, Tseraskiy is the topic of a requested article. Vaporwaveboyfriend ( talk) 21:00, 27 December 2020 (UTC) reply

Strong Keep, has useful information on the person. There is currently no page on the person, so it is useful. Maybe if a page was created then the redirect should be deleted. For now there is no reason to delete this very important redirect. Sahaib3005 ( talk) 08:25, 28 December 2020 (UTC) reply

  • Keep - minimal mention is content. The entire purpose of redirects is to get readers to content relevant to the title, however minimal it may be. Ivanvector ( Talk/ Edits) 18:33, 28 December 2020 (UTC) reply

The result of the discussion was speedy retarget to Cold War (1985–1991). I agree with the retarget suggestion and it has been endorsed by the editor who created the redirect. No need to leave this open. signed, Rosguill talk 23:44, 27 December 2020 (UTC) reply

Adelman was an advisor to Reagan for his summits with Gorbachev, but there's minimal content about that at this target. If we had an article summarizing the Geneva Summit (1985), Reykjavík Summit, Washington Summit (1987), Moscow Summit (1988), and Governors Island Summit, that would be the ideal target for this phrase, but lacking such a target I'm not sure that we have an alternative to deletion. signed, Rosguill talk 19:56, 27 December 2020 (UTC) reply

Wikipedia:Templates for discussion/Log/2020 June 1#Template:Wikimedia Meta-Wiki redirect held that redirects to meta within the mainspace were not appropriate. If this redirect is deemed appropriate here in its current form, I will duly seek the restoration of that template. That aside and for clarity, the plain soft redirect template is not used in the mainspace (see also WP:SOFTSP). —  Godsy ( TALK CONT) 23:26, 19 December 2020 (UTC) reply

Spaceless

The result of the discussion was delete. No mention in target, participants are unanimous in agreeing that these are not useful redirects in their current state. I think there's a valid argument that the best service to a reader is providing the search results. If someone thinks there's enough useful targets to create a disambiguation page, it was not really discussed further here, and is left to editors' discretion. ~ mazca talk 18:36, 4 January 2021 (UTC) reply

Tenuous connection. Just the title of a script he was attached to direct a long time ago. Not one mention in the target article. Albeit apparently also the title of a song in an album that has an article, "spaceless" being an actual word, it benefits more the reader who typed it in the search box to let them see the search results than to send them to any one article. Nardog ( talk) 23:24, 19 December 2020 (UTC) reply

  • Comment "Spaceless" should do something else, and not redirect to Fukunaga; probably be a disambiguation page, since there's a song "Spaceless" on Liebling (album), and another song by Boombox Cartel -- 67.70.26.89 ( talk) 04:37, 20 December 2020 (UTC) reply

The result of the discussion was retarget to Compounds of lead#Halides and other salts. The Blade of the Northern Lights ( 話して下さい) 21:57, 3 January 2021 (UTC) reply

Lead(IV) iodide is a different (seemingly nonexistent) compound not mentioned at the target. – LaundryPizza03 ( d ) 00:20, 27 December 2020 (UTC) reply

  • Delete Compounds of lead says The bromide and iodide of lead(IV) are not known to exist. Not a plausible search term. power~enwiki ( π, ν) 03:13, 27 December 2020 (UTC) reply
  • Retarget to Compounds of lead#Halides and other salts. The current target is clearly incorrect. Retargeting will serve to bring searchers to the relevant information. Mdewman6 ( talk) 21:13, 28 December 2020 (UTC) reply
  • Retarget to Compounds of lead#Halides and other salts per Mdewman6. It's not a compound that exists, but it's one that could be reasonably looked up based on the existence of other lead halides and has a sourced mention stating it doesn't exist. That entry is likely to answer the reader's enquiry. ~ mazca talk 16:26, 1 January 2021 (UTC) reply
