Not mentioned at the target, appears to just be a rumor at this point. I suggest deletion. signed, Rosguill talk 20:21, 25 April 2020 (UTC) reply

  • Delete when this was originally an article the sources used stated that Resident Evil 8 Village was a rumoured title for the next entry which itself has not been confirmed to exist. Since there is noting regarding this on the target article, and likely won’t be unless this 8th entry is announced as Resident Evil Village this should be deleted for now since it can easily be recreated if this is later revealed as the title for the 8th entry.-- 69.157.252.96 ( talk) 05:37, 26 April 2020 (UTC) reply

  • Keep or Retarget As stated above, this is a commonly used anagram for various April Fool's Day jokes used at least as recent as 2004 and dating at least as far back as 1898 according to NPR. One instance made #24 on Museum of Hoaxes' top 100 April Fool's Day Hoaxes. I'm happy to add a mention to the current target or the List of April Fools' Day jokes if there is consensus on which is a better home. I lean towards the current target since it's more of a recurring thing than a specific joke, but I'll see what people's thoughts are. - 2pou ( talk) 23:59, 29 April 2020 (UTC) reply

The result of the discussion was speedy deleted as housekeeping. These are leftover intermediate steps of a page swap that Anthony Appleyard neglected to complete. Depending on the context, I either performed a history merge or moved the title without redirect to complete the swap. One exception was I Love You (1979 film)(version 2). It was a redirect its entire history so I just deleted it. -- Tavix ( talk) 16:18, 29 April 2020 (UTC) reply

At some point in their histories, these pages were duplicates of their subjects, they were moved to these titles to get them away from the incoming links to their present targets. There don't seem to get very many pageviews now...perhaps we should delete them, merging any relevant history onto their targets... Regards, SONIC 678 18:24, 25 April 2020 (UTC) reply

'Remove all: These redirects may have had some justification in the initial stage when they were created. But all these "version 2" style redirects are useless by now. Just remove all. werldwayd ( talk) 23:45, 25 April 2020 (UTC) reply

The result of the discussion was retarget to Star Wars: The Force Awakens#Cast. A solid keep argument was made, and refining to a section of the original target seems like an uncontroversial suggestion signed, Rosguill talk 22:20, 4 May 2020 (UTC) reply

Character is only mentioned once in the cast section. The B is a little close to the F on the QWERTY keyboard so I think retargeting to France is a little more appropriate. OcelotCreeper ( talk) 17:46, 25 April 2020 (UTC) reply

  • It's the only mention of anything just called Brance. The name appears in other articles where this is a given name or surname of a person mentioned in (but not subject of) an article, or is a reference, and typos for "Brace" and "branch" but not for "France" - B and F are on different sides of a keyboard, with other keys in between. Peter James ( talk) 23:34, 25 April 2020 (UTC) reply
  • Keep. Mentioned in article, and not ambiguous (or at least with insufficient other substantive uses to require disambiguation). Shhhnotsoloud ( talk) 10:23, 26 April 2020 (UTC) reply
If we are going to keep it on this article, it should at least be changed to Star Wars: The Force Awakens#Cast to make it more clear as to why this redirect exists. OcelotCreeper ( talk) 14:47, 26 April 2020 (UTC) reply

The result of the discussion was retarget to Avengers (comics). signed, Rosguill talk 19:37, 2 May 2020 (UTC) reply

The Avengers were comic characters first you know. I suggest either retargeting to whatever article talks about the original comic books or creating a hatnote on the 2012 film article saying it redirects here and other avengers related articles. OcelotCreeper ( talk) 17:30, 25 April 2020 (UTC) reply

  • Retarget to Avengers (comics) as the original incarnation. On a procedural note, The Avengers (TV series) (nothing to do with Marvel) began in 1961, and the Marvel characters appeared only in 1963. The TV series was, understandably, must-see viewing for teenage boys: all the female leads (there were several) had a penchant for leather hotpants and martial arts. (Loosens collar.) One thing to keep in mind with these is that some of the ancient Hebrew letters transliterate in odd ways. The result of the discussion was retarget to Jesus#Etymology. Between nom suggesting either retarget or refine, and an editor voting keep, I think that refining to a section of the original article is an adequate compromise. signed, Rosguill talk 22:18, 4 May 2020 (UTC) reply

Recommend retargeting to Yeshua where the word "Yehoshua" is used commonly. OcelotCreeper ( talk) 16:41, 25 April 2020 (UTC) reply

  • Comment This was also originally an article. OcelotCreeper ( talk) 16:44, 25 April 2020 (UTC) reply
  • Keep - Yehoshua is the long from of Yeshua, and Jesus is a translation of Yeshua, and the ben Yosef indicates "son of Joseph". The current target is definitely the primary target for "Jesus son of Joseph." The language thing is a bit convoluted, but it's plausible. The Christian Bible was actually written in three languages: Hebrew and Aramaic in the Old Testament and Koine Greek in the New Testament. With all of the prophecies in the various languages and given that the transliterations all seem to be correct or using standard short/long variants of names for the applicable time periods, this seems plausible. Hog Farm ( talk) 18:17, 25 April 2020 (UTC) reply
Do note that I recommended retargeting to Yeshua since it is mentioned there and it does talk about Jesus in a section. But if the redirect is staying with Jesus, there is a section that explains the name Yeshua too so I recommend retargeting to that section specifically. Otherwise it looks more like a redirect that only exists because it is in a language other than english. OcelotCreeper ( talk) 20:00, 25 April 2020 (UTC) reply
Yeah, but WP:RFFL allows redirects in languages associated with the topic, and the languages involved are related to the Bible and/or first century AD Palestine, so there's a connection between Jesus and ancient Hebrew/Aramaic/Greek. Hog Farm ( talk) 20:38, 25 April 2020 (UTC) reply
I'm not saying it should be deleted because it is a language other than english. What I am saying is that the redirect target should be changed to Jesus#Etymology or Yeshua to make the redirect's purpose more clear. OcelotCreeper ( talk) 22:14, 25 April 2020 (UTC) reply

A pseudo-namespace redirect of a type that is stronly discouraged. It was created in 2018, is virutally unused (no incoming links), can't be used the way template shortcuts can be used, and it's at variance with {{ GSA}}, which is a different, unrelated template. Its existence can confuse editors, and because it's in the article namespace, it has the potential to get in the way of readers too. – Uanfala (talk) 15:07, 25 April 2020 (UTC) reply

WWX was a disambiguation page which eventually only had one blue link, and so was redirected to the current target. The song at the target is not, however, called WWX (it's "Planet WWX"). I suggest delete to enable Search to do its job. At the same time, delete the now not required WP:INTDAB redirect. Tegal (in Indonesia) doesn't have an airport, but even so this redirect is potentially ambiguous and deletion would be a better option than a redirect as a misspelling. Shhhnotsoloud ( talk) 10:57, 25 April 2020 (UTC) reply

Considering that this redirect contains three typos, this gets even fewer pageviews than other misspellings of the target article. Hilarious, though. (There was also an attempt to write an article about a non-notable music duo.) – LaundryPizza03 ( d ) 07:56, 25 April 2020 (UTC) reply

I get why mononeutron might be plausible, but the prefix uni- is not used this way in physics. – LaundryPizza03 ( d ) 07:15, 25 April 2020 (UTC) reply

Looks like a remnant of a microstub about antiprotons as they appear in Andromeda (TV series). That article was unreferenced and lasted 1 minute. Not worth keeping. – LaundryPizza03 ( d ) 07:12, 25 April 2020 (UTC) reply

Odd synonym, " negatron" appears to refer primarily to the electron and I'm still not sure if it should be retargeted to Positron. – LaundryPizza03 ( d ) 07:06, 25 April 2020 (UTC) reply

  • Delete. A negatron is an old name for an electron, so an antielectron would be a positron, not a proton. However a Google search showed absolutely no relevant entry using this word, so why include it in Wikipedia? Dirac66 ( talk) 12:05, 25 April 2020 (UTC) reply

The result of the discussion was delete. While editors made a strong case that simply using the pseudo-namespace T: is not grounds for deletion, I see a rough consensus of editors who feel that this particular redirect is potentially confusing and should be deleted regardless. signed, Rosguill talk 22:16, 4 May 2020 (UTC) reply

A pseudo-namespace redirect of a type that is stronly discouraged. It is used as a shortcut to a template, but can't work the same way as other template shortcuts. It points to a different target than the corresponding Template:MI, and being in the article namespace, it can interfere with search results (there is a use of lowercase T:mi as an abbreviation for a type of Finnish legal entity). This shortcut has a small, but non-negligible effect on readers, its presence can confuse editors, and there are no large benefits to counterbalance that as it's only ever been used by its creator (yep, I've checked all 42 incoming links). I believe the creator of the redirect can do what the rest of us do when we would like to link to our templates of choice: either write out the name completely, or use {{ tl}} or {{ tln}} with one or another of the existing template redirects (say, {{ tl|Multimg}} or {{ tl|MImage}}). This redirect was discussed in 2013, with no consensus achieved; pinging participants in that discussion: WOSlinker, Thryduulf, Emmette Hernandez Coleman, DePiep, BDD. – Uanfala (talk) 02:41, 25 April 2020 (UTC) reply

The result of the discussion was speedy delete as housekeeping. These are the intermediate steps of a page swap that Anthony Appleyard neglected to complete. I have finished the process by performing a history merge to the moved page that did not have pre-move history. For the record, the destinations are: Off the wall, LHR, Archduke Franz Ferdinand (disambiguation), MICA, and ELL. -- Tavix ( talk) 21:33, 27 April 2020 (UTC) reply

More leftovers from page moves to get away from incoming links to avoid confusion between two duplicate articles, which don't seem to get as many pageviews as their targets now (are they still useful?). However, given their histories, I'm suggesting we merge the redirects' histories onto their targets as well as deleting them. Regards, SONIC 678 01:48, 25 April 2020 (UTC) reply

  • History merge and delete per nom. At a minimum, Ell, Mica, and LHR have mergers in the page history. Franz Ferdinand might too, can't quite tell from the edit summaries. The history needs kept around for WP:ATT, but these titles are useless. Hog Farm ( talk) 18:20, 25 April 2020 (UTC) reply
