OVERLINK
The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a
deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
Per
WP:RFD#DELETE, item 6. No reason to have a redirect from this dictionary term to project space, especially not since typing three extra characters will give
WP:OVERLINK.

I believe that redirect was a mistaken on my part, as I neglected to include the WP: prefix before it. After creating the right one, though, I left it alone, because I didn't know it was a dictionary term. I'm all for removing it if everyone else is. Mea culpa.

MOS: redirects typically refer to things in the
Manual of Style, not to wikiproject matters. This is a bit deceptive, and even caught me off guard as I thought the target material I was reading was a part of the Manual of Style. I propose deletion or redirection to
Wikipedia:Manual of Style (music) as it was in
this edit.

I support the change, but this redirect (and the
Wikipedia:MOSALBUM and
Wikipedia:MOS-ALBUM versions) have been linked in discussions, so changing them may result in misleading links. One solution would be to update the links, another would be to create a proposed manual of style for albums as a separate page, using the style section from
Wikipedia:WikiProject Albums.

Redirects to the
Georgia (country) project banner. Aren't there many project banner templates, like the U.S. state banner? JJ98 (

It is currently in use as Georgia (country) banner, see the transclusions, and would need to have these redirects bypassed. If there is evidence that the existence of this redirect creates actual confusion, I would suggest either deleting and create-protecting it (with notes in the deletion and protection logs pointing people to the correct templates) or to replace it by a warning template similar to what is at
Category:Georgia (that might even be a good category to place pages with the template?) People from the Georgia WikiProjects might have a better idea what to do, though. —Kusma (

'Comment if this is deleted, someone is bound to recreate it, so instead of deletion, it shoudl be replaced by dab with big red error message when transcluded.

Delete or dab - I am going with delete because there were only a couple hits for the last 5 months and I think they were all me. I agree that this could be confusing but I could also see that leaving it as a DAB page might be useful as well. Either way is fine with me but I agree that the status quo won't do. --

It is in heavy use (by transclusion, so the stats don't tell you that). —Kusma (

I don't think making a disambig page in the template namespace is a very good idea... Personally I would lean towards keep here, as the template is already in heavy use, and this is a behind the scenes thing so it shouldn't be too impacting on any articles. --

This redirect was created as the result of a merger. However, The Final Nightmare is an episode of a 1994 animated series. There is a feature film called
Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare which is a more logical destination
D O N D E groovilyTalk to me 04:39, 24 June 2011 (UTC)reply
Support while it may not be the best source a simple Google search of the final nightmare shows that the film is by far the most common search term. In fact it took until page 7 before there was even a mention of the Spiderman episode and no other mention at least until page 15. This one seems obvious.--

Rename the edit history to
The Final Nightmare (Spider-Man), and then repoint the base name redirect to the Freddy Krueger film. This will separate out edit history considerations from future use of the redirect.
