The 15th New York City Meetup event was held on Sunday, September 13, 2009 in the
Columbia University area. This will be the ninth of the meetups with a session dedicated to discussing
meta:Wikimedia New York City issues.
There is one public meeting in the afternoon at Columbia University, where we take further steps to organize the
Wikimedia New York City local chapter, and provide a salon-style forum for discussion of Wikipedia and Wikimedia issues.
Additionally, there is an optional post-meeting dinner at a neighborhood restaurant.
Main public meeting
(to discuss Wikipedia issues and Wikimedia NYC chapter issues):
1402

Optional post-meeting meetup

I'll be at the Brooklyn Book Festival that day, photographing authors for Wikipedia, as per David Shankbone's suggestion.

I didn't know the festival was on the same day as this. Looking at the website, it starts at 10AM and I was thinking of going to the festival. --

Not until I'm a college student next year, since my parents won't let me go to Wikipedia meetups anyways for now. In high school, I still have to live under the authority of parents, but in college, I get to make free choices and become independent. Depending on where I go to college or when I have classes, hopefully I'll be able to make it to meetups. But not until next year. NHRHS2010 |

I am sure my parents would not want me to go for a website (there point of view) I think I am busy.

I am now in school in Pittsburgh, and it would be very difficult (and tiring) for me to take this day off and travel here.
