The Wiki-Pavilion Picnic NYC is a planned socially-distanced Wiknic in Brooklyn's Prospect Park to coincide with the virtual WikiConference North America 2021, Sunday October 10, 12-5pm, being held at the historic Concert Grove Pavilion.

A prototype of our craft project, embroidered Wikimedia tricolor buttons!

With participatory elements celebrating WikiProject Craft!

All attendees are subject to Wikimedia NYC's Code of Conduct. In addition, to participate in person you should be vaccinated and also be sure to respect others' personal space, and we may limit overall attendance size if appropriate.

For this occasion, and to allow more space as desired, we will have individually packed lunches provided by the chapter, and attendees are encouraged to RSVP off-wiki at Eventbrite and give sandwich/entree orders.

If you take pictures while you're in Prospect Park, remember there's a Prospect Park nature photo contest going on, too!

Scottandrewhutchins ( talk) 16:51, 10 October 2021 (UTC) I didn't want to go to a picnic in the rain, either, even if it is in a pavilion. It's pouring. reply
