The Hacknic NYC 2022 is a planned socially-distanced Wiknic in Brooklyn's Prospect Park coinciding with the the final day of the virtual Wikimedia Hackathon 2022, to be held Sunday May 22, 2022 from 12-5pm @ 10th Avenue Lawn, nearest subway stop is 15th Street–Prospect Park station.
Per Wiknic tradition, we are bringing food including:
- two tall fluffy veggie quiches in Thomas Keller's Bouchon style, (add more here).
- bunch of macaroons
- seltzer
A possible focus of the NYC event might be a wiki-themed game jam.
All attendees were subject to Wikimedia NYC's Code of Conduct. In addition, to participate in person you should be vaccinated and also be sure to respect others' personal space, and we may limit overall attendance size if appropriate.
Location will be 10th Avenue Lawn, and the nearest subway stop is 15th Street–Prospect Park station.
