I think it needs to be more bright. It's a bit shadowy. The circle needs to be boldened. Any other general improvements will be great. You can use my Hagop Terzian nomination above as an exemplary model. Thanks in advance.

I've just gotten a new camera, but I've not figured out (1) the photo editing software that comes with it, or (2) how to get it to produce images with panorama-type dimensions (much less height than width, e.g.
this image). Please crop out the bottom (including my car mirror) and top, so there's less sky and less asphalt. I was imagining something with the current width and a height of c. 3400 pixels, with approximately equal amounts removed from the top and the bottom, since I'd like the center of the current image to be at the center of the cropped image.

Please remove background, it can be white. The foreground can be the same sand-colour as seen on the steps. --

The colour in front of the steps is a grey in shades (from left to right it gets a bit more darker), can we have that changed please?

Okay, I'll try to do that.

Hohum: Can you please make the with the original coloring as well with its original size? Black and white is good but the letters are not seen there at all and if you can SVG vectorize again by giving it its own original colour and please give it its own original size as the image has.

SVG scale to any size you want (
1000px). I don't understand what you mean by the lettering not being seen. (

Please create a new file with the emblem superimposed on the medal ribbon bar, similar to this 1966-1989 Pro Patria Medal ribbon bar with the Mentioned in Dispatches emblem from that era. --

Andre Kritzinger: Doing so would obscure the black & yellow bands in the middle. Are you sure you want it done? Changing the middle will change what the ribbon means. MjolnirPantsTell me all about it. 22:05, 19 June 2014 (UTC)reply
Yes, that's how it is in reality, and it does change what the ribbon means. For comparison, see the Pro Patria Medal ribbon bars without and with Mentioned in Dispatches emblems. (The ribbon bar is usually about 10 mm wide, and the MiD emblem is 8 mm high.) --

Can the title and description of this image be changed (e.g. to the description furnished above) to reflect the fact that it is obviously photoshopped? The image is from the website of the guru
Amma Sri Karunamayi, and according to that site, the woman in the image is that guru's mother. The man in the image is
Ramana Maharshi. FWIW, I've seen the original. --

Middle 8: I changed the description. I don't think the title needs to be changed, though. You can request a name change if you really think it needs doing. MjolnirPantsTell me all about it. 22:02, 19 June 2014 (UTC)reply
1. Crop and straighten first. 2. Then upload the result over image. 3. Then on second upload clean blemishes, repair holes and restore, and turn it black and white.--

Please can you blur the background so the foreground is more focused. Also lighten image just a little, if you deem it to be suitable. Thanks. --

respectful observation; most of these are pagescans, with text, captions, etc. & should be kept "intact" on commons. i have no objection to derivative versions, but they should be entered as separate, new files, not overwritten onto the originals.

I usually upload the full page scan for record before cropping to the desire image. I never intend to keep it as a page scan of a book page because usually page scans useless and useable on Wikipedia to illustrate articles. Page scans of page usually comes with the entire book as seen
here. I would prefer that the current version be overridden since they were upload to be images of the images not the texts of surrounding pages. Thanks.--

IS there something like commons' "rotatebot" available on wp/en? because i've just tried "invoking" it, & it doesn't seem to have worked.
if not, then i need this pic losslessly rotated 90 clockwise; aka right-side-up xD
i've uploaded the file here, because of the "country of origin" PD requirement at commons; the item is easily & obviously "pre-1923", & therefore PD-USA, but it's not as clear how european copyright(s) would apply.
there's going to be rather a lot more of these; i've got a small collection of postcard art; mostly original works, not printed cards, & mostly wwi-related. i want to get a small gallery together in time for the centennial.
& many of the images will require rotation... if we don't have a rotatebot here, could we get one?
if anyone wants to play with colour/contrast, they are more than welcome to do so, but please upload it as a separate file? we are the "primary online source" for the item(s), so the originals should be accessible.
as some point, they can all be moved to commons, when the european copyrights are either clear, or clearly expired.
Done, I perspectve cropped as well, you could also request full crop to remove those lines surrounding the file. --
