Non-free files being used in Panamanian Football Federation and Panama national football team. Each file has a non-free use rationale for its respective use, but these seem to be essentially the same file (the only major difference I can discern is format), so it's not clear why both are needed per WP:NFCC#3a. Moreover, the use of a national federation's logo in individual team articles has been touched upon before in various NFCR/ FFD discussions, and the consensus in such cases has been that non-free use is only acceptable for the federation/association. Since the .png file has been tagged with {{ Should be SVG}}, it seems that .svg is the preferred format. So, I suggest keep the .svg version with clarification being added that it should only be used in "Panamanian Football Federation" and not in any individual team articles. I suggest delete for the .png version since there is no real need for two non-free versions of essentially the same logo. -- Marchjuly ( talk) 01:49, 6 June 2016 (UTC) reply

Image is claimed to be published prior to 1923 but the image is sourced to findagrave and the uploaded likely pulled it off eBay based on exif. None of this constitutes proof that this was published before 1923. Whpq ( talk) 03:21, 6 June 2016 (UTC) reply

• Comment. I uploaded the original image over ten years ago. I believe it was taken from FindAGrave and was a promotional image for the film Back Fire, which, when I check is from 1922. I could be wrong, my memory doesn't seem to stretch back that far. As far as the second upload by User:Batfan1966, I can't say where he retrieved the image, but is ultimately the same image that I uploaded. • Remove from article: In addition to the NFCC#8 concerns, there's also no real difference between this version of the logo and File:Indiana Pacers.svg being currently used in the infobox. The design is essentially the same and it looks as if only the font used for "Pacers" and the coloring has been changed up a bit.
