Harry Styles is an English singer from Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. Formerly a member of one of the best-selling boy bands, One Direction, Styles emerged as a solo artist following the band's indefinite hiatus. He has since released two studio albums, Harry Styles (2017) and Fine Line (2019), both of which became commercially successful. His first single, " Sign of the Times," topped the UK Singles Chart. His singles " Watermelon Sugar" and " As it Was" have also topped the UK Singles Chart and the US Billboard Hot 100, with "As it Was" debuting at number 1 on both charts. Styles has written tracks on all three of his studio albums: Harry Styles, Fine Line, and Harry's House. Styles has also written songs for One Direction, Ariana Grande, and numerous other artists. He is the recipient of numerous awards, including a Brit Award, a Grammy Award, and an American Music Award. Outside music, he has starred in Christopher Nolan's 2017 film, Dunkirk, and is known for his flamboyant fashion.
