Yeah, it would be interesting if the thing it's eating could be identified. 86.130.66.135 ( talk) 22:01, 18 October 2014 (UTC) reply
As far I know, @86.130 it is a huge Earthworm. Jim Carter (from public cyber) 05:34, 19 October 2014 (UTC) reply
I thought that when I first looked at the small-scale picture. However, when you zoom right in close, the animal's skin texture and pattern does not look like that of an earthworm, at least not any earthworm that I'm familiar with, and it does not appear to be segmented, which I believe all earthworms are. It does look more reptilian to me, although I'm not sure at all. 81.152.70.154 ( talk) 19:55, 19 October 2014 (UTC) reply
The skin texture and pattern are similar to those of legless lizards. My best bet so far is this species, but I'm no expert either. -- Ebertakis ( talk) 20:45, 20 October 2014 (UTC) reply
Hmm. Good search! Ebertakis but Eastern worm snakes are found mainly in the US but Yellow billed shrike is an African/South east Asian bird. :-/ Jim Carter (from public cyber) 03:09, 21 October 2014 (UTC) reply
Darn! I don't suppose the yellow billed shrike migrates, does it? -- Ebertakis ( talk) 20:57, 21 October 2014 (UTC) reply
I am fairly certain that this is a snake in the family Typhlopidae or Leptotyphlopidae. Shyamal ( talk) 06:26, 27 October 2014 (UTC) reply
