- Happily. There is a lot of empty scaffolding here. Our Greenland coverage is not so tight that we need categories by year, like Category:1982 establishments in Greenland which has one member, or even by decade. - Propose renaming Category:Organisations based in Greenland to Category:Organizations based in Greenland and its subcategories likewise.
- Rationale - Greenland is closely associated with North America, and also Denmark. We have Category:Organizations based in the United States, Category:Organizations based in Canada, Category:Organizations based in Iceland and Category:Organizations based in Denmark (which is a parent category of Category:Organisations based in Greenland). As the official language of Greenland is Greenlandic, with Danish being the other language in use, there is no case to be made for 'organisations'. Oculi ( talk) 10:19, 24 June 2019 (UTC)
- Oppose. This needs greater investigation. Why are some European countries with a "z" and some with and "s" in the first place? Why Category:Organizations based in Denmark but Category:Organisations based in Norway? Why Category:Organizations based in Prussia but Category:Organisations based in Germany? Why Category:Organizations based in Vatican City but Category:Organisations based in Italy? Shouldn't there be uniformity for the whole region? - Nominator's rationale: delete, this is mixing up linguistics with genealogy. The category contains descendants from people of nationalities and ethnic groups which adopted an Italic language. Descendants from people of those nationalities and ethnic groups do not have Italic ancestors though. Marcocapelle ( talk) 05:55, 24 June 2019 (UTC)
