Nominator's rationale: rename, current name is anachronistic because the term Holy Roman Empire is usually referring to the German/Italian empire that started in 962. In contrast most 9th-century emperors ruled the Carolingian Empire or Middle Francia. Marcocapelle ( talk) 21:38, 27 August 2019 (UTC) reply
  • Oppose The crowning of Charlemagne in 800 is considered the reboot of the Roman Empire. 962 is a later revival of the emperor title after a break and therefor no deterrant to titleholders that came from 800 until then. The term Holy Roman Empire did not come into use until much later, but is applied in retrospect. Agathoclea ( talk) 09:22, 28 August 2019 (UTC) reply
  • Oppose per Agathoclea's explanation. I could not have said it better. Dimadick ( talk) 15:23, 28 August 2019 (UTC) reply
  • Oppose the words of the coronation and the style adopted by Charlemgne ("Karolus serenissimus Augustus a Deo coronatus magnus pacificus imperator Romanum gubernans imperium") clearly indicate an intent to carry on the empire from the last east Roman emperor - Constantine VI (according to Pope Leo). Nominator's rationale: Overcategorization on a non-defining characteristic. The fact that their settings are fictional is not a substantive point of commonality between, frex, The Simpsons and All My Children -- television shows are not defined by the question of whether their settings are real or fictional places. Bearcat ( talk) 21:15, 27 August 2019 (UTC) reply
  • Support per nom. It is also kind of WP:OCMISC because it contains all leftover articles which couldn't be categorized by real continent or real country. Marcocapelle ( talk) 21:42, 27 August 2019 (UTC) reply
  • I notice now that this category also includes setting in a fictional place in a real country. That makes it even less defining, because in that case the geographic setting is the real country. Marcocapelle ( talk) 17:32, 29 August 2019 (UTC) reply
  • Oppose The setting of any work is defining and should be covered in these categories. Non-defining would be production trivia. Dimadick ( talk) 15:25, 28 August 2019 (UTC) reply

Nominator's rationale: For the same reason as the female category nominated below. Calling these terms misandrist rather than simply insults is POV pushing. It depends on the context of who is saying it. ZXCVBNM ( TALK) 10:28, 27 August 2019 (UTC) reply

Nominator's rationale: For parity with the category Category:Pejorative terms for people. While some of these terms are inherently misogynistic, others are only misogynistic in context. Classifying all negative tems about women as evidence of sexism is going too far - sometimes an insult is just an insult. ZXCVBNM ( TALK) 10:26, 27 August 2019 (UTC) reply
