  • Weak keep. I think there is just barely enough significant coverage in multiple independent reliable sources to meet GNG. There are glaring omissions in this coverage, such as whether the film was ever released, or if there are any specific plans for its release (television release plans from June 2012 were vague on details, theatrical release plans from December 2012 were similarly vague). I'm not persuaded that the awards for its promo(s) should be considered "major" awards, as per WP:NF's alternate notability criteria, unless promo awards are more significant in India than they are in the US. There may be more substantial coverage in non-English-language media, but I haven't come across any. Sources I considered:
    • Staff (2012-06-20). "Toonz animation film on Swami Ayyappan". The Hindu BusinessLine.
    • Staff (2012-06-20). "Ayyappan now in toon avatar". The Hindu.
    • Staff (2012-06-23). "Toonz, Animagic collaborate to 'animate' Lord Ayyappa". India Tech Online.
    • Jobalia, Khushali (2012-07-02). "Toonz, Animagic in final stage of completing TV feature 'Swami Ayyappan'". AnimationXpress.com.
    • Staff (2012-12-06). "Toonz all set to Release 'Swami Ayyappan'". Technopark Today. [Very brief]
    • Jayan, Arun (2012-12-17). "Toon 'Swami Ayyappan' all set to hit theatres". The New Indian Express.
    • Staff (2013-08-28). "Swami Ayyappan promo wins award". The Hindu BusinessLine.
    • Staff (2013-08-29). "Toonz film wins award". The Hindu.
    • Press Trust of India (PTI) (2013-10-04). "Toonz coming out with animated film on Lord Ayyapa". Asianet India. (Same story also carried on Z News).

Note that the following are primary source press releases, widely published in other publications, and do not establish notability:
This seems based on primary source material as well:
