I don't often contribute to Wikipedia, so I am not aware of the protocol here, but I can confirm that Song Ga-yeon is in fact relevant as a member of a reality show. She is on a popular reality show that features other popular Korean celebrities like Park Bom of the girl group 2NE1 [1] and Chanyeol of the boyband EXO. [2] I'm not familiar with Korean popular martial artists, so I'm not sure of her status as an MMA fighter but on the show, she is billed as an MMA fighter and is shown training and even taking pictures with fans who recognized her in the street. Please do better research before saying she isn't notable in any capacity. The article is indeed very short and incomplete so perhaps someone more savvy to this website would prefer to merge her information with another article, instead. Maybe the Roommate (TV series) article. (Or just add more and better information. It's out there.) [3] [4] Please forgive me if my formatting is weird. I'll try to fix it.

Perhaps a redirect to the Reality show would be acceptable. Peter Rehse ( talk) 16:36, 9 June 2014 (UTC) reply

I don't think it's advisable to go to the trouble of deleting the article. This person's notability is on the ascent with every week the reality show airs. Whether the show will have a long run remains to be seen. There's an audience for Korean TV in the English speaking world that is broader than the Korean community. SemblaceII ( talk) 23:33, 10 June 2014 (UTC) reply

  • Keep for now As it seems this person is rising in popularity and getting more exposure it stands to reason to give some time to see how popular they will become. ₪Rickn Asia₪ 00:44, 13 June 2014 (UTC) reply
Sounds pretty crystal bally to me. WP:CRYSTALBALL Peter Rehse ( talk) 08:21, 13 June 2014 (UTC) reply
  • laughs* I didn't know there was such a thing on Wikipedia. Giving Crystal Ball a quick read it basically says don't make predictions in articles. I never claimed the person will be big and I never edited the article. My response is more 'live and let live' as the article is already made and the person is getting good exposure. If something will become of her, I have no idea and I really don't care one way or the other. But, in the time being i don't want to delete someone's work as no one has seen how little or far the person in the article will go. Best~ ₪Rickn Asia₪ 05:33, 19 June 2014 (UTC) reply

  • Redirect to Roommate (TV series) Not notable as an MMA fighter, martial artist, or actress. Only claim to notability is her appearance on this TV show so a redirect seems reasonable. Papaursa ( talk) 18:30, 22 June 2014 (UTC) reply
  • Delete Not notable. No significant independent coverage apart from discussions on the show. Can't keep an article in the hopes that eventually she'll become notable. Cowlibob ( talk) 12:06, 23 June 2014 (UTC) reply
  • Weak Delete There are some claims to notability here, but subject just doesn't pass GNG. If there were more sources available, perhaps it could pass the threshold but with what I can find, and sadly I don't speak Korean, it just isn't there. ♥ Solarra ♥ ♪ 話 ♪ ߷ ♀ 投稿 ♀ 04:39, 25 June 2014 (UTC) reply
